“The Curators of Dixon School” Has Legs

Another screening: This one in Chicago’s Lawndale neighborhood at the ICE 10 Theaters, 3330 W. Roosevelt Rd., just west of Kedzie on Wednesday, March 6, at 7 p.m. Free parking. I’ll be there for the Q&A that follows the film.

It’s all about changing the picture in our communities and our schools. If you want to see how challenges are met and overcome, you might want to pick this movie over the theater’s other offerings that night: “The Last Exorcist Part II,” “A Good Day to Die Hard,” “Warm Bodies” and “Escape from Planet Earth.”

I’m just saying.
